VIOLIN TEACHERS

A recent Master’s graduate from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, Kerrie has studied music at the University of York in England and York University in Canada specializing in baroque violin and harpsichord. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Kerrie has completed Gr. 9 Violin and Piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Kerrie has been teaching violin and piano for over eight years, to a wide variety of ages and experience levels. She has a very enthusiastic approach and works closely with her students to make sure the lesson approach matches their musical goals!
Kerrie has performed with a wide variety of groups in the UK and Canada and has toured throughout much of England, Scotland and Germany with chamber orchestras.

My name is Paul and I am one of the violin teachers on Music Lessons on Skype. I can work with beginners to intermediate students.
I mainly focus on technique when I teach, then letting the student express music creatively. I'm a strong believer in having a student learn the basic techniques before learning advanced ones. Also learning scales and rhythms.
